Imagine leaving your normal life for a life of adventure. That’s exactly what Varial did a year ago when he decided to sell his old life to finance a new one. For a year, everyone wondered where this had led him. Now Varial emerges from the shadows to enlighten us with his latest project entitled Wakhan, an other Afghanistan!

After years of being bombarded with negative images from this old country, it’s gonna be refreshing to get a new perspective, one oriented around the people rather than politics.

The full project will be released in February 2012, but for the time being you can feast on this teaser to get a glimpse of the project. A book, a film and a web documentary have been announced so you can see how Varial and his partner Fabrice have been keeping busy!
