In recent weeks, I’ve made a series of realizations concerning various aspects of my professional life. The past year has been some kind of stand still photographically speaking, but I really have the drive to make the next year count. I started being more generous, more focused, more involved. For a while, I was taking some things for granted. I’m planning on re-investing in my personal photography. I have tons of projects in mind. Now I need to see things through and have most of them put into action. Getting started is actually the hardest part…

But the key resides in personal work. Getting work is fun. Winning pitches is exciting. But getting your own ideas out is exhilarating. It’s a catalyst for your creativity.
