Yesterday I got a phone call at noon for a rush job. « Simon, I have a rush job for you, are you available?! » I had to think this one through as I was in the midst of building a decor for a videoclip I will be shooting in the next few days… « Ok, I’ll do it! But what is it? » The job consisted on shooting tv and radio host Sebastien Benoit for a promo for Iris. Sebastien happens to be this year’s Rogers Cup representative and got eye surgery years ago from Iris, the event’s main sponsor. So we needed a good clean shot, showing his eyes.

I had never met Sebastien before but knew his tv persona and just loved the shot above by Marc Montplaisir as it showed him under a different light. The guy was equal to his image, very nice and cool to work with. We then did some glasses shots. It was a pretty fast shoot as he needed to be on a set to shoot a couple of tv shows!
