Exhibition: NIK MIRUS @ Visual Voice Gallery

It’s now official! Photographer Nik Mirus will be hosting his first solo exhibition entitled People and Quiet Spaces at the Visual Voice Gallery. The Vernissage will take place November 6th and the show will be up until November 15th.

I’ve been working with Nik for the past 5 years now and have always been fascinated with his process and work ethic. His cinematic photographs drive the viewers into each scene through a strong narrative and always take full advantage of the elements in and oustide the « frame » to create a dramatic tension. Dark and moody, his characters are as intriguing as the environments in which they’re portrayed. Most interestingly, the viewer is not facing an answer, but rather a question, leaving his images open to interpretation.

But not only is Nik a talented artist, he’s probably the finest human being I know, dedicated not only to his work, but also to the people around to him.

So see you there!
