This morning I had a meeting with an agency regarding a job. I presented my portfolio and we quickly started to discuss the job and how to go about it. Without any doubt, this will probably be the most challenging photographic job. I love doing clean work, but this one will probably the cleanest job I’ve ever had to do. A lot of details will be worked out in the next few days.

Then I got a second call, this one concerning a stop motion project, as a matter of fact two 30sec sequences. This one is a bit technical, so we had to make a conference call with the Director to figure out some of the technical aspects and solve some technical issues to better prepare the job. In just a few minutes, we were able to clarify the concept and answer eachother’s questions. Now we just need to work out the pacing and the schedule!

Last but not least, I got a confirmation email for a shoot early November. I’m really looking forward to this one as it should be highly stylized and it is meant for publicity usage. More and more, this is where I want to aim my work towards to…

Weather it’s face to face meeting, conference calling or emailing, we definitely live in a communications era! Next step: getting a job through text messaging!
